Tucson Meet Yourself - Green Team

Rotary Tucson Verde was part of the Green Team at this year's Tucson Meet Yourself. One of Tucson's oldest and largest annual festivals is a celebration of the cultural diversity of the Old Pueblo.  💃🕺🎊🎉 

With over 40 food vendors, our volunteer members helped divert a large amount of waste from landfills, while also helping to educate attendees on recycling and composting. 
You can tell by the photos that we had lots of fun.

A big shoutout to UofA's Compost Cats who served as Green Team leaders, and to the Tucson Meet Yourself organization for their commitment to sustainability.
