Tucson Clean and Beautiful  Tree Planting

Rotary Club of Tucson Verde went out on a 🌳limb 😉 for our January service project. Club members planted 30 trees last Saturday at Santa Rita Park. Tree varieties included desert willow, palo verde, and Chinese pistashe.

Mother Nature clearly approved because an all-day rain came on Sunday to provide the best kind of watering. 🌧️

This project was in partnership with Tucson Clean and Beautiful in support of their efforts to plant more shade trees, important for reducing toxic emissions and cooling the environment. Rotarians Michelle Felix Steve Coyne of EnviroCare Tree Solutions, LLC came with several staff members.
